School

Ysgol Uwchradd Caergybi is a co-educational 11-18 comprehensive community school maintained by Isle of Anglesey County Council.

The school is a bilingual community where the main medium for instruction in all subjects is English.
Only experienced and qualified teachers work at the school, they are always helped by assistants who must also have a relevant pedagogical or philological education. Among the assistants, there may be students from various higher educational institutions who have chosen this school as a place of practice. However, in order to obtain a permit for practice, a student must submit all the necessary documents, pass a test, and prepare for interview format writing.

There are currently 874 pupils on roll, including 141 in the Sixth Form.
